Passion Defined

Pronunciation: \ˈpa-shən\

Function: noun

Definition: emotion compelling action

Dear Passionate Ones,

You found us! Somehow, from someone, you ended up here. Coincidence? We think not. Here goes our very first post.

What do you think of when you think of PASSION?

Is it this?

Or this?

Or this?

There is no right answer. Passion knows no limits. It cannot be defined for it exists in any number of places and in multiple forms. Your passion can be a vocation, something you do once a year, or even one that you simply watch from afar.

We began this because more than ever, we began to realize the GIANT, ENORMOUS, GARGANTUAN amount of PASSION just sitting there – on the knoll, in the SUB, in our classes (when we should have been paying attention to our profs.). Your passions- they were just sitting there – unawakened, unnoticed, unloved.

It was at this same time, that we also began to see the giant, enormous, gargantuan goodness of people’s hearts. People want to do something in this world that matters. For good.

We thought, why not combine these- this urgent want to change the world and this passion? And so, this little proj. came into being. We hope you’ll follow us as we search, seek, and live all things passionate.

Our first question to you Passionistas out there: We want to know what makes you happy; what brings you to life each day? What compels you to action?

Until our next post…

Passion out!
